Vietnam Reopening

Vietnam has opened tourism to all forms, at all border gates, and does not restrict to any tourism activities for both domestic and international tourists

From March 15, Vietnam’s tourism will reopen under new normal conditions, applied to all tourism activities by land, sea, train, air and all border gates. Foreign visitors entering Vietnam no longer need to spend time in medical isolation and even without vaccination certificates!

Visa policies and countries applicable have been approved to remain the same as before the pandemic. Vietnam announced the restoration of visa exemption for 13 countries including: Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Norway, Finland, Belarus, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, South Korea, Russia, Japan, Sweden, and Denmark. Citizens from these 13 countries will be exempted from visa when entering Vietnam with a temporary stay of 15 days, regardless of passport type and entry purpose. At the same time, the issuance of tourist visas for international tourists will also be carried out as before the epidemic, including electronic visa issuance, bilateral visa exemption, unilateral visa, etc.

Visitors entering Vietnam only need to have a negative Covid-19 test result by RT-PCR (within 72 hours) or a rapid test (within 24 hours), use the PC-Covid app for health declaration. At the same time, children under 2 years old are not required to be tested and follow their parents. Visitors need to buy travel insurance, which covers Covid-19 at the rate of 10,000US$.
