Despite the monsoon season is predicted to continue with short and heavy showers, there are still dry days throughout July. The temperature also gradually drops down, making the hot season more comfortable with average temperatures of around 27°C.
Thanks for the rains that tend to increase towards the end of the month, you can enjoy a lot of greenery in the countryside. Thunder storms can also occur infrequently giving some spectacular views, especially at the Angkor Temples!
You can expect the heavier and more prolonged downpours as well as dry days on Cambodia’s south coast beaches such as Kep & Sihanoukville. The rain also makes travelling around fairly difficult in the more rural north east regions such as Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri.
