With Thailand In Depth 13 Days, you will immerse yourselves in the fascinating sceneries throughout the country. Arrival in Bangkok - the center for most commercial and economical activities of the Kingdom, you will be given a chance to discover this charming city with a variety of tourist sites such as: Royal Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaeo, Emerald Buddha Image and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, etc..     After breakfast at hotel, we start our city tour with a visit to Royal Grand Palace, dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremony. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After visiting, we continue with a visit to Wat Pho a house gigantic Reclining Buddha.

    We will board on a long tail boat trip along the Chao Phraya River and the many lively inner canals which offer some fantastic views of the local life close up. Along the way we make stopover at Wat Arun, the temple of Dawn, before lunch at a floating restaurant. In the afternoon, we will drive visit the Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha. Return to hotel and time free for relaxing.

    Day 3: Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Bangkok (B/L/-)

    Bangkok - Ayuthaya: 80km, ~1h15min drive

The ancient city of Ayuthaya is known as the "Venice of the East" due to the fact that it lies along the Chao Phraya River, the tributaries of which surround Ayuthaya province. The glory of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767A.D.) is evident in the remains of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Chai Wattanaram, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, continue to Bang Pa In to visit the Royal Summer Palace. Return to Bangkok in late afternoon. Check-in hotel for overnight.

    Day 4: Bangkok - Samut Songkram – Floating Market – Rose Garden (B/L/-)

    Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak: 95km, ~1h30min drive

    Early morning after breakfast, we drive to the south- west of Bangkok, visit to local market at Samut Songkram before we continue driving to Damnoen Saduak a rural floating market. We will stop to visit coconut sugar palm industry. Arriving at Damnern Saduak we will board on a long tail boat ride along the water way to the picturesque floating market of Damnern Saduak.

    After visiting these sites we continue to visit the royal Thai handicraft industrial, and then visit the Rose Garden, its consists of over 50 acres of tropical paradise with flower gardens, orchards and a typical Thai village. Thai village show starts at 3:00 p.m. and you can witness ordination into the fingernail dance, Thai boxing, hill tribe dance, sword fighting, elephants at work and folk dancing. Lunch will be in the Rose Garden. After that transfer back to Bangkok. The rest of the day is free for your personal discovery or relaxation.

    We then visit the Chapel of Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), one of Thailand's most unique and visually stunning temples. The all-white temple was constructed by local artist, Chalermchai Kosipipat, and is famous for its contemporary and controversial take on traditional Buddhist art. After visiting this extraordinary temple. Return to Chiang Rai, time free and easy.

    Morning after breakfast at hotel, we take a cruise on the Mekong to discover the Golden Triangle and visit an artisan village on the Laos border. Proceed then to visit Opium Museum there to learn more about drugs and opium business in the old days. Lunch is served at the restaurant.

    In the afternoon, we reach Chiang Saen where you can visit the ruins of the first Capital of the Lanna Kingdom on the river bank and visit Wat JD Luang with oldest pagoda in the heart of the city before going back to Chiang Rai.

Arrive at the Long Neck Karen Tribe, who have lived in the region since ancient times, then continue on to visitthe Big Earrings Tribe. After visiting the tribes, we board a car to Chiang Mai, the "Rose of the North." This 700-year old city boasts an eclectic fusion of historic and unique cultures. Spend the afternoon free at leisure and enjoy traditional Khantoke Lanna Dinner and Show in the evening.

    Morning after breakfast, we drive northwest of Chiang Mai to Doi Suthep Temple, one of the North's most sacred temples. Located near the summit of Doi Suthep Mountain, the temple affords some of the finest views of Chiang Mai below. Continue on to visit a Thai Handicraft village, where we can browse traditional handmade goods, including hand-painted umbrellas, silk and hand-woven cotton. This evening, head to Chiang Mai's colorful night bazaar and walk by shops and street vendors selling a huge variety of goods.

    If your trip includes domestic flights if any, they will be operated by Vietnam Airlines, the largest airline in Vietnam. The fleet consists mainly of Airbus and Boeing. On some short trips, the company operates 72 ATR and some Fokker.

    Rail transport

    Train travel can be offered (particularly between Hanoi-Lao Cai and Hanoi-Hue). Travelling at a speed of 60km/h on average it is not necessarily the fastest but an interesting experience nonetheless.
