We’d like to say thank you so much for organising a wonderful trip for us.   Everything went very smoothly and all the arrangements worked perfectly.  We really appreciated the variety in what we did and your ability to modify the trip for our particular requirements.

Generally the hotels were fine although the one in Saigon was not in the best area.

Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly and were prepared to alter our itinerary when the weather wasn’t ideal.  The drivers were also friendly and on time with beautifully clean vehicles.  We think Daniel (in Hoi An) could have given us more information about the town and it’s history.

Both boat trips went really well and were surprisingly comfortable.  The crew and guide on the sampan in the Delta were excellent.

The train ride was comfortable enough but the carriage was very noisy so we didn’t have a good night’s sleep.

The food was both plentiful and tasty.

We really have no criticisms of the trip and would totally recommend your services to anyone looking for this sort of holiday,

Dear Ms Vy,

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful holiday . From the pick up at the airport in Hanoi  to the drop off at HCMC airport everything went very smoothly and we both really enjoyed our time in your wonderful country.

We particularly enjoyed the time in Hoi-an, Lan Ha bay and the sampan . Special mention must be made of our wonderful driver in Cambodia who basically kept us alive in the 43 deg temps with ice cold flannels and water bottles . He deserves a medal! I think his name was Chamnab.

All our guides were excellent although I think Sunny in HCMC would be better suited to younger travellers .

We were very touched by the gifts you gave us on our arrival -the plates are beautiful!

We shall certainly consider returning to explore more of your country -maybe Sa Pa and another Lan Ha bay cruise! I have heard that Laos is also worth visiting .

Well thank you once again . From the beginning of our planning you have been excellent in all respects , replying to e mails promptly and including all the necessary information . I would have no hesitation in recommending Tonkin travel!

Thank you Ms. Vy for keeping in touch with me before the trip (about 3 months) to customize it to our preferences. You were always very kind and patient, answering my emails, giving recommendations, clarifying our doubts and giving advice. 

Thank you for always having time during our trip and being available via Whatsapp to assist us with all the drivers and guides. You had the overview and control of our schedule, hotels, tours and the 7 domestic flights. 

Thank you for taking care of our return flight and checking if we arrived home safely in Costa Rica.

Many thanks to our excellent tour guides. They taught us a lot about the culture and history of these countries. The tour guides and drivers were always on time.

A wonderful tour!!!

During our 4 weeks trip we could get to know a part of the culture, the people, the cities, the sights of these 4 countries: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.

We flew from Costa Rica to Thailand, then to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and returned to Thailand to catch our flight back to Costa Rica.

I can't go into detail and list all the things we did and tried in each country as I would have to write far too much, just to mention, each country had its beauties and surprises!!!

When I remember this wonderful trip, I will always have a smile on my face and my mind and now I think: why not visit this region again to further explore its charms ?!!!
