  • Day 1: Hanoi arrival (-/-/D)

    Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, your guide will meet you in arrivals and escort you to the city centre to check into the an elegant hotel. You will be left to relax and enjoy the hotel’s amenities after your long flight.

    In the afternoon, your guide will be back to take you on a 45 minute-cyclo tour to discover the Old Quarter & Hoan Kiem Lake. Here you will pass by the peaceful lake surrounded by century-aged trees and colonial buildings. After you finish the cyclo tour, your guide will take you to Ngoc Son Temple on Jade Island, dedicated to Confucian and Taoist spirits.

    We end the day with a one hour massage at a local spa before enjoying an enchanting dinner at a popular local restaurant.

    Day 2: Hanoi - Phoenix Golf (B/-/-)

    After breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby around 8:00 am for a scenic drive to Hoa Binh. Arriving around 10:00 am, you begin your day with a round of golf at the great Phoenix Golf Resort.The Phoenix is the largest golf resort in the Northern Vietnam with three different courses to choose from.

    In the afternoon, we drive back to Hanoi to visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius. It also served as the first university of Vietnam and the site honours the Vietnamese doctorates who passed a number of rigid exams in the medieval ages.

    Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh (B/L/-)

    ninh binhAfter a delicious breakfast, we depart for the province of Ninh Binh known as the dry edition of Halong Bay. We ten top in the ancient capital Hoa Lu to discover its temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). We then climb up Mount Truong Yen for the discovery of the tomb of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang. Here you will enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings villages and sensational views of Vietnamese landscape. We continue towards Tam Coc where we will have lunch. After a decent meal, you will be taken on an authentic boat ride through caves, karst peaks and flowing rice fields. We then continue with a bike ride through fields and village of Hai Nham away Bich Dong Pagoda located on the mountain Ngu Nhac. Set of three pagodas from the era of the past then we have a magnificent view of the surrounding area.

    Day 4: Ninh Binh - Halong Overnight on Boat (B/L/D)

    halongAfter breakfast at the resort we depart for Halong Bay via Nam Dinh and Hai Phong, passing through the peaceful countryside typical of the Red River Delta. Upon arrival, we embark an elegant wooden junk for a 23 hour cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay. Here we enjoy the striking scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whilst on board, we will be served a fresh seafood lunch followed by swimming and the chance to explore some of the limestone caves in the area. Witness one of the world’s best the sunsets before you sit down for a delicious dinner. The captain then will anchor nearby a remote island for the night where you’ll have the option for night fishing or to just sit out on the deck and relax under the stars.

    Day 5: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Flight to Hue (Br/-/-)

    After waking up surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the bay, we have time for an early morning dip. Then it’s time for breakfast whilst you watch the sun rise over Halong bay. The luxury junk continues to move around the bay in order for you to discover more secluded areas.  The boat will be near at all times for those who prefer to relax on board. Around midday, we will return to the main harbour before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for the three-hour journey to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Hue, our driver will meet and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the evening is yours to explore or to indulge in the hotel's world-class facilities.

    Day 6: Hue Imperial City (B/L/-)

    After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for the exploration of Hue's famous highlights, including the picturesque Thien Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. One of the most poignant displays here is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its treatment of Buddhists. Disembark the board for a visit the elaborate mausoleum of former emperor Tu Duc, which was built between 1864 and 1867 by 3000 soldiers and workers. It includes 50 monuments surrounded by a 1500m long wall covering an area of 12ha. Transfer back to Hue center Hue for lunch at local restaurant.

    In the afternoon, we drop by for a visit to Hue Imperial City, the last royal city of Vietnam with various beautiful structures including the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and the Forbidden City or Tu Cam Thanh. Built in the 19th century by the Nguyen dynasty, the City was home to the former Emperors of Vietnam from 1802 until 1945. We stop by the Dong Da market for some shopping and to enjoy Hue specialities before returning to the hotel.

    Day 7: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B/L/-)

    After breakfast at the hotel, we bid Hue farewell and continue our south bound journey to the old trading town of Hoi An. Along the way, we will stop at Lang Co beach for coffee and refreshments. From here we head up to the Hai Van pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views north over Lang Co beach and south over Danang city. Continuing on our way down the other side and into Da Nang, where we will stop at the Cham Museum, the famed Danang Beach, and the Marble Mountains. Upon arrival Hoi An, fwe ollow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge – the symbol of Hoian, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls typical of Hoi An’s original architecture, etc. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax in your resort, or go out and discover Hoi An’s boutique bar scene and tantalising cuisine.

    Day 8: Hoian - Montgomerie Golf (B/-/-)

    Montgomerie linkAfter breakfast at the resort, our driver will meet you at the hotel lobby at 8:30 a.m for a drive to the acclaimed Montgomerie Links Vietnam Golf. Located just a few kilometres from Hoi An city centre, the Montgomerie Links is easily one of South-East Asia’s most beautiful courses. Designed by Ryder Cup winner, Colin Montgomerie, the scenic course is characterised by a striking landscape of wispy casuarina pines and sand dunes. It will come as no surprise then that in 2010 it was awarded ‘Best Golf Course in Vietnam’ by Asian Golf Magazine.  Tee off and escape the hustle and bustle of Hoi An for the day. In the afternoon, we drive back to town to visit the Hoi An market and you will have free time to do and relax as you please.

    Day 9: Hoi An - Danang Golf Club (B/-/-)

Designed by Greg Norman himself, the 18 holes navigate through dunes, bunkers, lakes, and more. Characterised by its wild seaside vegetation and sand dunes, Da Nang offers superb views of the ocean as you play.  Tee off at the first true links style course in South-East Asia. In the afternoon, we drive you back to the hotel for your last night in sensational Hoi An.

    Day 10: Hoian - Danang - Flight to Saigon (B/L/-)

    After breakfast at the resort, our driver will meet and transfer you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will meet your new guide who will then escort you to the hotel in city centre for check-in. This luxurious Vietnamese style hotel combines hospitality and elegance. You will have a few hours to get some lunch and relax. 

    In the afternoon, we have a half day to visit all famous sites of this bustling city. The first destination is the now-demolished wartime American Embassy. Following this, we head to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam. That is, until April 30th, 1975, when Viet Cong tanks came crashing through the front gates thus bringing the U.S.-Vietnam War to a dramatic end. You will view beautiful French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883, and the stones used to create it were exported entirely from France. Apart from the religious meaning, the most captivating point of this Cathedral is its special neo-Romanesque style of architecture. Next, to the cathedral stands the Old Saigon Post Office, finished in 1891. It is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam's largest post office.

     After visiting the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip to the bustling Ben Thanh Market. There are a number of vendors and food stalls that offer you the chance to explore Vietnamese cuisine. You also can find many goods for daily use as well as a variety of eye-catching local handicrafts and souvenirs.

    Day 11: Saigon - Cai Be - Sa Dec - Can Tho (B/L/D)

Upon embarkation on your sampan you will be welcomed with fresh towel by our crew. Start to visit some local home factories to observe the traditional procedure of making rice ice paste, coconut candies and other specialties. Proceed to Cai Be colorful floating market, cruise among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Take a direction to Vinh Long and Sa Dec, cruise upstream Tien Giang River is, one of the two largest arms of the Mekong. Sail into a narrow canal to discover the hideaway unspoiled landscapes, luxuriant gardens and enjoy the airy atmosphere in countryside. Pass several traditional brick factories while cruising and have an interesting onsite visit to one of them. Continue the journey to Sa Dec, the little "Venice" in the Mekong Delta with numerous narrow canals, and different kinds of trading activities. Disembark at the local market place and begin your exploration in this charming Sa Dec town by walking along narrow streets and take pictures of beautiful old houses and Chinese temples. Stop at an ancient house dating from 1890, home of Ong Huynh Thuy Le, former "lover" of famous French novelist Marguerite Duras. Lunch will be served on board while cruising down to Can Tho along a beautiful narrow canal. Passing under Several wooden "monkey bridges" and tiny typical villages before pulling a stop to visit Cao Dai Temple. The last stop before sunset is a splendid ancient house or "Nha Co" dating from the early 19th century. After the personal welcome of owner, a romantic candlelight dinner will be catered in an unique atmosphere. After dinner, continue to proceed to Can Tho.

Cruise Among local barges full of fruits and vegetables and enjoy the hustle and bustle of morning market. The excursion ends at around 10.00a.m at Ninh Kieu Pier after-visiting Can Tho's local market. Drive back to Saigon.

    After breakfast at the Majestic, your driver will meet you at the hotel lobby at 7:30 a.m for a drive to Phan Thiet. You will arrive around noon and check into a gorgeous hotel on the beach of Mui Ne.

    After you have found some lunch, we drive to the Sea Links Golf & Country Club. Its warm climate presents ideal conditions for a great round of golf.  Tee time around 13:00. In the late afternoon, we drive back to the hotel. The evening is yours to relax in the resort.

    This trip is private and therefore can be altered to suit your needs, date of commencement and budget requirements.

    Prices vary due to a number of specifics:

    • The period: during high season (from October till April), the price of services is generally higher compared to the low season (from May till September).

    If your trip includes domestic flights if any, they will be operated by Vietnam Airlines, the largest airline in Vietnam. The fleet consists mainly of Airbus and Boeing. On some short trips, the company operates 72 ATR and some Fokker.

    Rail transport

    Train travel can be offered (particularly between Hanoi-Lao Cai and Hanoi-Hue). Travelling at a speed of 60km/h on average it is not necessarily the fastest but an interesting experience nonetheless.
